Sponsors recognised as Wales Business Awards returns for 2022

With the return of the highly anticipated Wales Business Awards 2022 fast approaching, Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid is recognising and thanking its sponsors of the prestigious event, which is making a comeback after a hiatus due to the pandemic.

The awards, which provide SME businesses across the country with the opportunity to compete for Wales’ most prestigious accolades, are this year being supported by headline sponsor Avast Business.

Cyber security experts Avast Business will be joining businesses from across Wales at the ceremony on 9 June at St Fagans National Museum of History, which sees broadcaster Gethin Jones return as host.

Emily Winn, UK SMB Sales Manager, Avast Business, said: “We’ve really increased our presence in Wales over the past few years, providing security solutions to many local businesses and so to be able to support the Wales Business Awards 2022 was a natural fit for us.

“We’re looking forward to playing a role in judging the best that Wales has offer and to meeting some of the faces behind those impressive businesses at what’s set to be a really great evening at the awards.”

This year, the Awards are also aligned with the Wales Start Up Awards and the Fast Growth 50 Awards, with the aim of creating a gold standard of awards ceremonies, celebrating success for businesses at each level: start up, SME and high-growth.

Also sponsoring and playing a vital role in judging the many entries are: University of South Wales, Welsh Government, NPTC Group of Colleges, CGI, Atradius and Euroclad Group.

Paul Slevin, President of Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors of the Wales Business Awards 2022, and the role they play in supporting the event cannot be underestimated.

“From playing a vital role in sharing their expertise and input in judging the categories and picking our worthy winners, to their support on the night itself, we simply wouldn’t be able to do it without them.”

Entries will close on 1 April, with the finalists set to be announced at the end of the month. Entries can be submitted at https://cw-seswm.com/events/awards-2022-entry-form/.
