The South and Mid Wales Chamber of Commerce has welcomed leading telecommunications company, BT Cymru Wales, as a new Corporate Partner.
The partnership will add to the breadth and depth of the Chamber’s portfolio and will provide key resources to the business organisation’s core members, strengthening the Chamber’s remit to drive trade by working with Partners to support Welsh business needs.
As a Corporate Partner, BT joins an exclusive group that shares a special relationship with the Chamber. The organisation collaborates closely with its Partners to provide resources to the Welsh business community and support economic growth.
Partners enjoy frequent consultation from the Chamber and are provided with opportunities to have an active role in the organisation’s activities. In addition to regular communication to ensure specific goals are met, Corporate Partners also benefit from the Chamber’s huge reach throughout most of Wales as well as nationally and internationally.
BT Group is a major investor and employer in Wales, employing more than 4,400 people and contributing almost £1bn in economic impact. As a trusted service provider and advisor to private and public sector businesses across Wales, BT is at the forefront of driving technological change and securing the country’s digital infrastructure through programmes such as Skills For Tomorrow and the Public Sector Broadband Aggregation Network (PSBA).
